I am trying to make a “tropical” smoothie, but every time I am thinking of the recipe it segues into cocktail!!! It’s hard to NOT think about “magorita” when you have all ingredients on hands. Anyway, here it is, my first tropical smoothie. I would have put a miniature umbrella on it if I have one.
It’s full of vitamin C, and low in fat. You may put sweetener in it if you prefer.
C-Alert Smoothie…. serve 4-6
- 2 cups fresh squeezed orange juice
- 2 cups unsweetened coconut milk
- 12 oz. frozen mango
- 12 oz. frozen pineapple
Note: add 3 tablespoons sea buckthorn juice & 1 tablespoon lucuma powder to make this recipe a “superhero” smoothie.
